Our specialty has always been the creation of things early in the life of a technology. It’s been amazing to watch the world of profile picture projects (PFPs) like CryptoPunks and Meebits expand to become an entire industry.

These projects now need a steward with a different skill set in order to continue growing, which is why we’re entrusting them to Yuga. We know their team will honor the history of Cryptopunks and Meebits, while guiding them into the larger world they are building.

A huge thank you to the punk and meeb communities for joining us on this incredible ride. We’re going to keep running Larva Labs and doing what we do best, and we’re excited to see what Yuga and the punk and meeb communities build together.

We are experiencing an outage at our service provider causing both larvalabs.com and meebits.larvalabs.com to be temporarily unavailable. We will update when we have more information.

Meebits Update Several things just went live to improve the zero-fee Meebits trading system: A new email-based notification system, a trade interest indicator setting, and an all new interactive search that ties into both of those to help find trading partners.

PSA: "V1 Punks" are not official Cryptopunks. We don't like them, and we've got 1,000 of them... so draw your own conclusions. Any proceeds will be used to purchase real Cryptopunks!

This version of the API is a signature-based way for Meebit owners to allow other platforms access to their restricted files. We will continue to evolve it in public based on feedback, with the aim to adopt or create a standard for all Metaverse avatar projects.
